New Walmart Opens in Forsyth

A new Walmart opened its doors in Forsyth Wednesday, bringing a big retail boost to Middle Georgia.

The store has brought 180 new jobs, as well as eco-friendly technology.  For example, the store will save up to 75% on lighting costs because of special skylights that harvest the daylight.

The 24 hour retailer is located on North Lee St.
